The girl’s parent reported the relationship between the two, according to the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Tampa man is accused of having multiple consensual sexual encounters with a 17-year-old girl, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Charles Wayne Logan, 68, of Tampa, was charged with 21 counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor.

Deputies said that, in June and July, Logan engaged in multiple sexual encounters with the 17 year old. All were consensual. During those two months, their sexual activity occurred on
numerous occasions at both the teen’s and Logan’s residences.

The teen met Logan in December 2016. The relationship started as friends, but over time developed into a consensual sexual relationship, deputies said. The teen’s parent discovered the relationship and notified the Sheriff’s Office.
