She posted the threat on Facebook, according to the Pasco County sheriff.

PASCO COUNTY – A teen is accused of threatening to kill a former teacher, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said.

Desiree Zio, 18, of New Port Richey, is charged with one count of written threats to kill or do bodily injury.

Deputies said they arrested Zio about 11:23 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 13). Zio, a senior at Marchman Technical College, used her mother’s Facebook account to post a message saying, “I’m going to kill [teacher’s name].” She posted it to the teacher’s Facebook account. The teacher had formerly taught Zio at River Ridge High School.

Zio admitted posting the statement on Facebook, deputies said. They said Zio told them intended going to the teacher’s workplace and stabbing her with a knife.
