The van became wedged inside the building and the suspects fled.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – Deputies are investigating a burglary this morning (Sept. 22) that happened when a stolen van was used to break into a convenience store, the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office said.

About  2:17 am, two men used a Ford van to break the glass windows of the Sunoco Gas Station, 8402 Gunn Highway in Odessa. The van had been stolen about 1:55 a.m. from the Land of Learning Academy, 8809 Robson St. in Tampa.

It appears the men were using the stolen vehicle to gain access into the ATM that was near the front door. After the van was used to smash into the building multiple times and to knock over the bolted ATM, it became wedged inside the building on top of the ATM. The ATM remained within the Sunoco and no items were stolen. The men fled the scene.
