St. Pete Police Search for ‘Very Dangerous’ Suspect

He may have argued with a man who was killed over the weekend, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department. The dead man’s sister was found badly beaten.

ST. PETERSBURG – Officers are searching for a man in connection with the death of another man and the beating of his sister over the weekend, the St. Petersburg Police Department said.

Paul Dumas, 68, was found dead in his home Monday (Jan. 1) morning. His sister, Elaine Vidinha, 63, was badly injured. She was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where she was listed in critical, but stable, condition.

Officers are searching for Otis Joseph Henderson, 44, who is thought to have argued with the two before Mr. Dumas died and Vidinha was beaten.

Henderson may be armed and is considered very dangerous, police said. If anyone has seen him or locates him, they should call the police immediately at (727) 893-7780.
