ST. PETERSBURG – Police here have charged one man with a weekend shooting death.

Jermaine L. Bradford, 34, of New Port Richey, was charged with second degree murder. St. Petersburg police said he was on federal probation for drug possession.

Bradford is accused of shooting and killing George Hall. Police found Hall on Saturday (April 15) suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper chest. Mr. Hall was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he was pronounced dead.

Police said they contacted Bradford on Monday (April 17). Bradford came to the department for an interview and was subsequently arrested.
