ST. PETERSBURG – Police said they have arrested a man who was running a sophisticated marijuana grow house.

Yankier De Posada, 23, of Pinellas Park, was charged with one count each of trafficking in cannabis, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, manufacture of marijuana, resisting without violence, trafficking in marijuana, grand theft, and criminal mischief.

St. Petersburg police said they executed a search warrant on a house at 5612 Burlington Ave. N after 7p.m on Wednesday (Aug. 23). Officers described it as a sophisticated grow house with 36 full grown marijuana plants with an estimated street value of $200,000.

De Posada was there at the time and tried to run from officers, they said. The investigation is ongoing.
