Spring Hill Traffic Stop Ends with Drug Arrests

Deputies said they saw narcotics in the station wagon, the Hernando County Sheriffs Office said.

HERNANDO COUNTY – Deputies stopped a car Tuesday (July 3) for an expired tag and ended up arresting the two men inside in connection with drug-related offenses, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said.

Jerimiah James Bradley, 33, of Spring Hill, was charged with one count of trafficking in a controlled substance. Christophere Calvin Lively, 31, of Spring Hill, was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies said they were conducting a proactive patrol in the area of Pinehurst and Cobblestone drives, when Deputies Trevor Jones and William Harsanyi spotted an orange Chevrolet HHR with an expired tag.

Jones stopped the station wagon because of the expired tag. Jones said he was able to see narcotics in the vehicle. His investigation revealed that Lively had heroin and Bradley had 25.8 grams of Hydrocodone without a prescription.
