Spring Hill Man Grew Marijuana, Deputies Say
Deputies seized 83 marijuana plants, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.
SPRING HILL – A Spring Hill man was accused of running an indoor marijuana grow operation, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.
Alexei Moya Gonzalez, 49, of Spring Hill is charged with one count each of trafficking in cannabis, possession of a place for manufacture of a controlled substance, cultivation of cannabis, possession of paraphernalia, and tampering with utility fixture.
Gonzalez was arrested Monday (April 30) after deputies executed a search warrant on his home on Orchard Park Drive in Spring Hill. During the search, deputies said they found 83 marijuana plants, with a total weight of 136.7 pounds.
