He was beginning to dismantle the trailer when deputies found him, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.

SPRING HILL – A Spring Hill man is accused of stealing a utility trailer, the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office said.

Ely Ramirez, 40, was charged with one count each of unarmed burglary to an unoccupied structure and two counts of grand theft.

Deputies said that, about 11:30 a.m Friday (Oct. 19), they were alerted to the theft of an enclosed utility trailer from the area of Commercial Way and Northcliffe Boulevard in Spring Hill.

Deputies said they found the stolen trailer at an address on Oak Grove Street in Spring Hill, only a few miles from where it was stolen. When they arrived at the Spring Hill address, which is where Ramirez lives, deputies said they saw him beginning to clean out and dismantle the trailer.
