SPC Student Accused of Having Knife on Campus
She did not threaten anyone, the St. Petersburg Police Department said.
ST. PETERSBURG – A St. Petersburg College student was arrested Wednesday (March 21) after she brought a knife on campus, the St. Petersburg Police Department said.
Megan Joann Allen, 21, of Kenneth City, was charged with one count of possession of a weapon on school property, a felony.
Police said that around noon on the SPC Gibbs campus, 6605 Fifth Ave. N, Allen “carelessly” displayed a knife with a three-inch blade in front of other students. She was arrested without incident and did not threaten anyone, officers said.
