Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot Cupcake the dog.

PLANT CITY – Officials are seeking the person who shot a dog that was found lying in a Plant City ditch.

The dog was found about 7:30 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 25) lying in a ditch in the 700 block of Colson Road by an off-duty deputy. The dog was injured and it was believed she had been hit by a car.

The dog was taken to the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center for an examination by veterinarian staff. X-rays revealed that she had been shot in the leg. The dog has been named Cupcake because of her sweet demeanor.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspect(s) involved in this case. Anyone with any information regarding the
