Deputies said he began having inappropriate sexual relations with the teen when she was 14.

PINELLAS PARK – Pinellas sheriff’s deputies have charged a Pinellas Park man with sexually battering a teenager.

Larry R. Bourdon, 44, of  6635 92nd Ave. N in Pinellas Park, faces one count of sexual battery (familial authority).

Deputies said they began their investigation Dec. 27 after the girl told them that Bourdon began having inappropriate sexual activity with her when she was 14 years old. Bourdon had familial authority over the girl when he began having inappropriate sexual activity with her, deputies said. He continued having inappropriate sexual activity with her until she was 18 years old.

Deputies said they were able to corroborate her allegations.

Deputies said Bourdon admitted the allegations when they interviewed him Wednesday (Jan. 18) at the Sheriff’s Administration Building.
