Seminole Man Accused of Sexual Battery on a Minor
The victim was between 13 and 17 years old when the incidents happened, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
PINELLAS COUNTY – Deputies have accused a Seminole man of inappropriate sexual contact with a minor.
William Jonathan Walls, 47, was charged with two counts of sexual battery (familial authority). Deputies said the victim is a 19-year-old female who is known to the suspect. The acts happened between June 2009 and July 2016 when she was between the ages of 13 to 17-years old.
Deputies said their investigation began Feb. 7 when the teen disclosed to an adult at her school, that she had inappropriate sexual contact with Walls when she was between the ages of 13 and 17 years of age. Deputies in the crimes against children unit were notified of the inappropriate sexual contact. Deputies said they interviewed Walls on Tuesday (Feb. 7) and he confessed to the sexual battery allegations.
