Ruskin Man Charged in Home Invasion

Two other suspects have not been identified, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Ruskin man has been arrested and charged in connection with a home invasion earlier this month in Wimauma, the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office said.

Alberto Aurelio Martinez, 32, of Ruskin, was charged with one count each of robbery home invasion and felon in possession of a firearm.

The charges arise from an Oct. 9 home invasion in Wimauma. Deputies said three men, armed with weapons, entered a home and stole multiple items. They fled undestected.

A suspect was later positively identified as Martinez. The other two have not been identified at this time. The Hillsborough sheriff’s office is asking for  any information leading to the identification of the two unknown suspects.
