He put a hidden camera in a relative’s bedroom, Hillsborough deputies said.

RIVERVIEW – A Riverview man was arrested after he was discovered secretly recording a family member against their will, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Mark Boyer,56, of Riverview, was charged with three counts of Video Voyeurism and one count of Tampering with a Witnes

Deputies said they received a report Feb. 28 that Boyer was secretly recording a family member. The investigation revealed that Boyer knew his family member had no knowledge of a hidden camera being placed
inside their bedroom. Boyer also instructed the victim to lie to law enforcement if questioned about the hidden cameras.

As a result of the initial investigation, a court authorized search warrant was obtained for Boyer’s residence. On Friday (March 8), deputies executed the warrant and said they found evidence that corroborated statements made by the family member.
