Port Richey Woman Tried to Run Over Boyfriend, Deputies Say

Pasco deputies said she told them she wanted to scare him.

PASCO COUNTY – A Port Richey woman has been accused of trying to run over her boyfriend, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said.

Chaneise Culp, 52, of Port Richey, was charged with one count of Domestic Aggravated Assault.

Deputies said her live-in boyfriend was walking down the street to their home when she swerved the vehicle she was driving toward him, drove up onto the sidewalk and tried to hit him. He jumped out of the way before being hit.

After Culp was arrested, deputies said, she told them that she did swerve toward him because she wanted to scare him.
