Port Richey Woman Accused of Stabbing Boyfriend

The boyfriend was found dead behind a Port Richey business, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said.

PORT RICHEY – A woman was arrested Friday (Sept. 16) after she admitted stabbing her boyfriend, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

Angela Garrett, 49, of 7240 Vienna Lane, Port Richey, was charged with domestic aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, a felony. Deputies said she admitted stabbing her longtime boyfriend, Andrew Gluszek, 51, a homeless man. Deputies say that, as the investigation continues, new criminal charges could be filed.

A Port Richey police sergeant found Mr. Gluszek’s body lying next to a business called Twice the Ice, 6670 Ridge Road, Port Richey, behind a Family Dollar store. Mr. Gluszek was pronounced deceased about 8:39 p.m. Friday. A stab would was found on his body. her residence. Because that location was in the sheriff’s jurisdiction, deputies were called in to take over the investigation.

Deputies said Garrett admitted she has been dating the victim for several years and had stabbed him.
