The Running Man Challenge is one of the latest crazes to hit the internet.

ST. PETERSBURG – Police here accepted the Running Man Challenge issued by Hot 101.5 FM radio.

The Running Man Challenge is one of the dance crazes sweeping the internet. It was begun by two teens. The craze took off after two University of Maryland basketball players got into the act. Then it spread to police departments across the world.

What is the challenge? Well, dance to My Boo, a 1990s hit song by the Ghost Town DJs.

Why did the St. Pete police accept the challenge? According to a press release, the answer is simple: “Just wanted to show we have a sense of humor… and SOME of us can dance!!”
