St. Petersburg Police Officer Accused of Domestic Battery

ST. PETERSBURG -A St. Petersburg police officer is facing a charge of domestic battery after being arrested Sunday (Sept. 18) by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Curtis Wright has been with the St. Petersburg Police Department since April 19, 2010. He has been assigned to administrative duty pending the outcome of criminal and internal investigations, the department said.

Police said the altercation between Wright and his girlfriend took place at their home about 1:30 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 17).
