The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for information about the crash.

PASCO – Florida Highway Patrol troopers are looking for information about a driver who hit a pedestrian early this morning (June 4) and fled the scene.

Mark Chapasko, 55, of Hudson, died at Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center of injuries he received when hit, FHP troopers said.

The crash happened about 12:40 a.m. at Fivay Road and U.S. 19.Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the FHP at (813) 631-4020 or contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at (800) 873-TIPS (8477) or by going to the Crime Stoppers website at crimestopperstb.com.
