Pinellas deputies are investigating a home invasion during which a woman and two men forced their way into a home and hit a man in Oldsmar.
OLDSMAR – A 54-year-old man was hit on the head during an early morning home invasion Monday (July 30), the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.
Matthew Kosky was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Deputies said Kosky was asleep in his home on Phoenix Avenue when he was awakened about 4 a.m. by a knock at his door.

After leaving Kosky’s home, the same three walked next door and entered the screened in porch of another apartment. The residents there, 52-year-old Donna Dowd and 33-year-old Eudis Nunez, heard someone breaking into their home and called 911.
The woman and men fled before entering the apartment.
Deputies from the K-9 and flight units helped search but could not find them.
The suspects were described as a woman and two men with Hispanic accents, wearing dark colored clothes, armed with a handgun.
