Oldsmar Father, Son Accused of Sexually Abusing Four Girls
When the crimes occurred the girls were between the ages of 5 years old and 19 years old, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.
PINELLAS COUNTY – An Oldsmar father and son have been accused of sexually abusing four girls, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.
Joshua Alexander Pasco Sr., 43, of Oldsmar, was charged with two counts of Sexual Battery- Familial Authority, and one count each of Lewd and Lascivious Battery and felony Driving While License Suspended or Revoked.
James Ivory Pasco Jr., 63, of Oldsmar, was charged with three counts of Sexual Battery on a Child Less Than 12-Years-of Age, two counts of Sexual Battery- Familial Authority, two counts of Sexual Battery and one count of Lewd and Lascivious Battery.
Deputies said they began their investigation Jan. 30 after one of the girls contacted the Sheriff’s Office and reported she was sexually battered on separate occasions by the Pascos. During the course of the investigation, deputies said they identified a total of four girls who suffered sexual abuse at the hands of Joshua and/or James Pasco.
Deputies said they learned that Joshua Pasco had inappropriate sexual activity with two female juveniles. He sexually abused the first girl in the late 1990’s when she was between the ages of 9 and 13 years old. The second was sexually abused in 2016 while Joshua Pasco had familial authority over her.
Deputies said they also learned that James Pasco had inappropriate sexual activity with a total of four girls dating back as far as the early 1970’s. Three were juveniles between the ages of 5 and 13 when the sexual abuse took place. The fourth was an adult when James Pasco sexually battered her in 2017 and 2018.
Deputies said most of the victims were in Joshua and James Pasco’s familial or custodial authority at the time of the abuse.
