Neighbor Dispute Ends in Murder, Clearwater Police Say
A dispute between neighbors ended with a death.
CLEARWATER – A Clearwater man was arrested after a dispute left a neighbor dead, the Clearwater Police Department said.
Johnny Sauls, 57, died at a local hospital of injuries he received during the dispute.
Luis Ramos-Flores, 57, of Clearwater, was charged with one count of second degree murder.
Police said they were called to the Far Horizon Mobile Home Park, 2580 Nursery Road, about 4:38 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 10) for a report that a mand was punching and kicking another man.
When officers arrived, they said they saw Ramos-Flores holding Mr. Sauls down. Officers handcuffed Ramos-Flores and called paramedics for Mr. Sauls.
Officers said Ramos-Flores and Mr. Sauls had an ongoing neighborhood dispute.
