The deputy awoke Hucko and said he saw “mulitple signs of impairment” and called for backup.

Before the other deputy arrived, Hucko was taken to the hospital for a medical complaint. When the other deputy got to the hospital, he said Hucko had bloodshot, glassy, watery eyes and her speech was “thickly slurred.” The deputy said he could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath. The odor grew stronger as she spoke.
