Men Use Stolen Truck to Crash into Tampa Store

Hillsborough sheriff’s deputies are searching for the men who stolen numerous items after the crash.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – Four men used a stolen truck to crash into a store so they could steal items, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

The incident happened about 10:39 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 10) at Teresa’s Food Mart, 11723 N 15 St. Deputies said a four-door white Ford F150 was backed into the front of the store. Four men got out of the truck, entered the store and stole numerous items.

The vehicle sustained significant rear end damage. A truck matching the suspects’ vehicle had been stolen earlier on Sunday.

Anyone with any information reference these suspects is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at (813) 247-8200 or anyone with any information regarding the identity and whereabouts of these suspects and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477), report anonymously online at crimestopperstb.com or send a mobile tip using the department’s P3 Tips Mobile application, which is a free download for iPhones, iPads and Droids.
