Leonardo Arellano Ramos | Pinellas Sheriff | Arrests

The four teens were employees at the Madeira Beach store, Pinellas deputies said.

MADEIRA BEACH – The 62-year-old manager of a Madeira Beach custard shop has been accused of molesting teenage employees, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.

Leonardo Arellano Ramos, 62, of St. Petersburg, was charged with two counts each of lewd and lascivious molestation and of simple battery.

The four girls, ages 14, 15, and 17, were all employees at Kohr Family Frozen Custard where Ramos was manager. Deputies said the incidents all happened April 7 and July 20 at the custard store, 12831 Village Blvd., Madeira Beach.

Detetives said one of the teens reported to deputies that she was the victim of inappropriate sexual contact. She said Ramos had grabbed her buttocks and breasts on the outside of her clothing on multiple occasions.

Detectives interviewed three other 14-, 15-, and 17-year-old female employees who told them of similar acts by Ramos between April 7 and July 20. These acts included Ramos’ grabbing the girls’ buttocks, placing his hands under their shirts, and on their bras and breasts.

One complain involved Ramos’ kissing the girl’s neck and sucking her ear while not allowing her to go free.

On Monday (Nov. 19), detectives interviewed Ramos and said he admitted to “patting the victims’ buttocks.”
