Man Was Peeping Under Dressing Room Door, Hillsborough Sheriff Says

The man said the woman was his girlfriend. She was not, deputies said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Seffner man was arrested after he peered under a dressing room door at a woman who was trying on clothes, the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office said.

Jack Richard Tempfer, 51, of 201 Lenna Ave. in Seffner, was charged with one count each of voyeurism and disorderly moral conduct.

The incident happened about 5 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 5) at the Goodwill Store, 1106 E Brandon Blvd. in Brandon. Deputies said store customers spotted Tempfer looking under the doors of the woman’s changing room while a woman was trying on clothes.

Deputies said Tempfer told them the woman was his girlfriend and he was at the store to pick up clothes. Deputies watched store surveillance videos and confirmed the he had peeped under the dressing room door. The woman was not his girlfriend.
