The man admitted to the allegations, Pinellas Park police said.

PINELLAS PARK – Police here have charged a 28-year-old man with sexually battering an 11-year-old child.

Johnny Michael Valenzuela, 28, of Tampa, was charged with one count of sexual battery on a victim under twelve years of age, one count of transmission of material harmful to minors and two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.

The name of the victim and her mother’s employment, where the acts allegedly took place, have been withheld, according to Pinellas Park police.

Police said the child had accompanied her mother to work during the holiday school break, which began Dec. 21 and ended Monday. While there, the child was allowed to freely roam about the
business where, police said, she met Valenzuela, another employee.

Valenzuela approached the child several times during the week and, police said, on one occasion performed an oral sex act on the child and on two separate occasions performed lewd and lascivious molestation-related acts upon the victim. One of the acts, police said, consisted of digitally penetrating the child and the other involved forcing her hand onto his sexual organ.

Police said Valenzuela also used Skype to communicate with the victim during which time explicit photos were sent to the child. One photo was of Valenzuela posing nude, officers said.

Valenzuela was arrested Tuesday (Jan. 3). Police said Valenzuela admitted to the charges.
