Man Accused of Sexually Battering 6-Year-Old Girl

A family member walked in on him, New Port Richey police said.

NEW PORT RICHEY – A 25-year-old man has been accused of sexually battering a 6-year-old girl, the New Port Richey Police Department said.

Terrelle Cole Jr., 25, was charged with one count of Sexual Battery of a Victim under the Age of 12.

Police said Cole had sexually battered a 6-year-old girl. Cole fled after a family member walked in on him while he was abusing the child.

A statewide BOLO was issued for Cole and the vehicle he was driving because police had information that he was fleeing the state. Shortly after the BOLO was issued,deputies from the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office found Cole driving in the area of the Suncoast Parkway and Staste Road 52.

New Port Richey police Detective Joseph Ioppolo interviewed Cole and arrested him.
