Man Accused of Punching Driver Who Crashed into His Wife

He argued with the man who rear-ended his wife, the Hillsborough sheriff’s office said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A man was arrested Friday (Aug. 31) after he punched a driver who was involved in a traffic crash with his wife, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Gregory Eugene Harvin, 58, was charged with one count of burglary of a conveyance with assault or battery.

Deputies said that, about 5 p.m., Harvin’s wife was involved in a rear-end crash at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Falkenburg Road.

After arriving at the scene, Harvin got into an altercation with the man who rear-ended his wife. He punched the victim in the chest and head through a vehicle door that was ajar, deputies said.
