Largo Police Search for Missing Toddler

Jordan Belliveau has been found dead, according to the Largo Police Department.

LARGO – The body of 2-year-old Jordan Belliveau has been found, according to the Largo Police Department.

The child’s body was found in a wooded area near Lake Avenue and McMullen Road in Largo.

Details of the child’s death are not available, but the discovery brings to an end the search for the child that began Sunday (Sept. 2) when his mother reported him missing.

Largo police said Jordan has been missing since Saturday (Sept. 1) night. He and his mother were walking on East Bay Drive near Belcher Road at about 9:30 p.m. when they were offered a ride in a white Toyota Camry by a stranger who gave them the name “Antwan.”

Once in the Toyota, an altercation took place and the mother told police she was struck in the face and lost consciousness. Jordan’s mother told police that she regained consciousness about 1:30 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 2) in a wooded area within Largo Central Park.

After an extensive search of the area, Jordan was not located and an Amber Alert was issued. The Amber Alert was cancelled this afternoon (Sept. 4).
