Holiday Doctor’s Office Manager Accused of Prescription Fraud
The woman would take the co-pay from some patients and give them forged prescriptions, according to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.
PASCO COUNTY – A Hudson woman has been accused of forging prescriptions.
Bridget Carr, 33, of 13323 Old Florida Circle, Hudson, was charged with 57 counts of uttering a forged instrument and six counts of obtaining a prescription by fraud, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office said.
Carr worked as an office manager for Dr. Jose Turro, 5019 Mile Stretch Drive, Holiday. Deputies said Carr would take the co-pay from some patients and give them prescriptions she forged without the doctor’s knowledge. During the investigation deputies said they found several non-patients to whom she was also writing prescriptions.
