Hillsborough Sheriff Searches for Nail Polish Thieves

The suspects stole 276 bottles of nail polish.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – Deputies here are searching for a man and a woman who, they said, stole 276 bottles of nail polish.

The theft happened about 1:30 a.m. Oct. 26 at the Walmart, 6192 Gunn Hwy. in Tampa, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. The suspects walked over to the cosmetics department and placed 276 bottles of nail polish in a book bag. The suspects then left the store, without paying for the merchandise, and entered a maroon, four-door sedan that was waiting for them outside.

Deputies have released surveillance photos showing the two suspects and the car, possibly a Nissan Maxima or Toyota Camry with tinted windows The car appears to be missing front driver’s side wheel cover.
