Their bodies were found at a gas station, Hillsborough deputies said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – Deputies are investigating a double homicide that was discovered this morning (Sept. 12) at a local gas station.

The men were identified as Dremaine Vashaun Johnson, 24, of Tampa, and James J. Nicholas, 23, also of Tampa.

Their bodies were found early this morning near the gas pumps at the Chevron stateion, 7710 Madison Ave., according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. No other information was immediately available.

The investigation is continuing.
