Hillsborough Deputies: Burglars Rammed Business, Stole Dirt Bikes

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – Deputies are investigating a robbery at a Tampa motorcycle store.

Deputies were called to Tampa Bay Power Sports, 13521 N Florida Ave., on Monday (Sept. 11) after receiving a report of a burglary, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. When deputies arrived, they discovered that multiple unknown suspects had rammed the side of the business with an unknown type vehicle. Once inside the business, the suspects stole seven dirt bikes, valued at more than $38,000. During the burglary, the suspects also damaged multiple motorcycles by pushing them over, breaking mirrors, tearing bumpers off, etc.
