Hernando Sheriff Charges Family of Five with Drug Offenses

A months-long investigation ended with the arrest of a Spring Hill family.

SPRING HILL – Deputies arrested five members of a family Friday (April 21) after a months-long investigation into narcotics trafficking, the Hernando Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies said they had been investigating Christopher Collier for several months regarding the sale of cocaine from his home in Spring Hill. During the investigation, Collier sold cocaine to an undercover detective on numerous occasions. During the last undercover transaction, deputies said Collier sold a trafficking amount of cocaine that weighed 42 grams.

Upon the execution of a search warrant on Wednesday (April 19), deputies said they found more cocaine, paraphernalia, marijuana, hashish and other controlled substances in the residence. All family members at the residence were in possession of different items related to narcotics possession and were subsequently arrested, deputies said.
