Deputies says they found, among other things, paraphernalia for making crack cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana and handguns.

BROOKSVILLE -Hernando deputies say they uncovered a crack cocaine manufacturing facility Friday (Dec. 4) after executing a search warrant.

The search warrant, for 236 B St. in Brooksville, was the result of a lengthy narcotics investigation, deputies say. When they entered the house, deputies say they found items and paraphernalia that indicated the manufacturing of crack cocaine.  Along with those items, detectives discovered 108.56 grams of crack cocaine, 28.04 grams of marijuana, two handguns, and $10,000 in U.S. currency.

Leandre Wright, who lives at the residence and is a convicted felon, fled the scene in a car when deputies arrived. Deputies say they have warrants for his arrest on charges of trafficking in cocaine (two counts), unlawful use of a two-way communication device and possession of drug paraphernalia. The warrants are a result of previous undercover operations involving Hernando County detectives. Charges arising from Friday’s warrant are pending, they say.

Wright is currently listed as a Crime Stoppers Wanted Fugitive, according to deputies.  If you know his whereabouts, please contact the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office at (352) 754-6830.
