Father Accused of Shooting Son to Death
The shooting came during an argument between the two, Hillsborough deputies said.
PLANT CITY – An 82-year-old man was arrested Wednesday (Dec. 26) in connection with the Christmas Day shooting death of his son.
Benjamin Vickery, 50, died of his injuries at South Florida Baptist Hospital. He had been shot in the upper body during an argument with his father, Guy, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Guy Richard Vickery, 82, of Plant City, was charged with one count of manslaughter with a weapon.
