Driver Charged in Pinellas Park Crash

Two people were critically injured in the early morning crash.

PINELLAS PARK – A St. Petersburg man has been charged in a crash that left two people in critical condition, Pinellas Park police said.

Bryce Albert McCloud, also known as Brice MacLeod, 31, of 945 6th St. N in St. Petersburg, has been charged with two counts of DUI causing serious bodily injury. Police said the charges could be upgraded to DUI manslaughter if either, or both, of the victims loses their life.

Caroline Sue Sine, 34, of St. Petersburg, the driver of the other car, and her passenger, Sean R. Hankins, 36, of Tampa, were taken to Bayfront Health. They are listed in critical condition.

The crash happened about 12:50 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 14) when a 2016 Toyota Corolla driven by McCloud ran a red light at Park Boulevard and 40th Street N. The Corolla hit a 2003 Toyota Camry that Sine was driving, police said.
