Deputies: Tampa Woman Threatened to ‘Shoot Everyone’ at Elementary School

TAMPA – A Tampa woman was arrested after she posted a threat to “shoot everyone” at the nearest elementary school on her public Facebook account, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Juliana Joy Cote, 26, of Tampa, was charged with one count of Written Threats to Commit a Mass Shooting or Terrorism.

Deputies said Cote made the shooting threat Thursday (May 16) in a public posting accompanied by a photograph of a small fake firearm.

Shortly after, deputiessaid they were told of the posting and interview Cote at her home, which is in close proximity to Egypt Lake Elementary School. Deputies said Cote admitted to creating the Facebook post.
