Two Found Dead in Tarpon Springs Home

A co-worker who was checking one of of the decedents found the bodies, the Tarpon Springs Police Department said.

TARPON SPRINGS – Officers are investigating after two people were found dead this morning (March 2) in a home, according to the Tarpon Springs Police Department.

Tarpon Springs police said their deaths appear to be a result of a murder/suicide. Confirmation of the cause and manner of death is pending an investigation by the Pasco-Pinellas County Medical Examiner. The identities of the decedents has not been confirmed.

Police said they received a 911 call about 8 a.m. from someone who said they had discovered two deceased individuals inside a residence at 507 S Jasmine Ave. The person who reported this incident has identified themselves as a co-worker of one of the decedents and had come to the home to check on things because the co-worker had not been heard from.

Officers who went to the home found a man and woman dead inside.
