Police are on the scene of the drive-by shooting.

TAMPA – Tampa Police are on the scene of a drive-by shooting that left one dead and possibly four others injured and taken to area hospitals.

Information is limited. But police said the shooting happened about 4:30 a.m. this morning (April 1) in a parking lot on the north side of the Palace Lounge, 219 S Howard Ave., The shooting appears to have resulted from a dispute earlier.

Police said they are interviewing a man who might be the shooter, but at this time no charges have been filed.
