One Dead after Stabbing, Hillsborough Sheriff’s Deputies Say

Four others suffered non-life threatening stab wounds, deputies said.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – Deputies are investigating a stabbing that left one man dead and four others injured.

Johnny Morris, 23, apparently died at the scene. Marvin Morris, 17; Jarvin Morris, 17; Steven Tolbert, 20; and Ronnie Ponder, 23, were all taken to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

Information about the stabbing is limited. Deputies said they were called to 1322 Windsor Way early this morning (June 14). Deputies said it appears that all the parties knew each other and the stabbings were not random.
