Clearwater Teen Arrested in Hit and Run
A 17-year-old girl was on her way to board a bus to Dunedin High School when she was hit, Clearwater police said.
CLEARWATER – An 18-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday (April 24) in connection with a hit-and-run crash earlier in the day on N Betty Lane, the Clearwater Police Department said.
Domenek Marie Bryant, 18, of Clearwater, was charged with one count of Leaving the Scene of a Crash Involving Injury.
She is accused of hitting a teen who was on her way to school. The teen, whose name was not released, was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital later in the day for treatment of lower leg injuries.
The crash happened about 7 a.m. at N Betty Lane and Sedeeva Street in Clearwater.
Police said 17-year-old girl was on her way to board a bus to Dunedin High School when she was struck by a southbound silver Honda Civic.
