Clearwater Police Investigate Shooting Death
Clearwater police are asking that anyone who has information about the shooting contact officers.
CLEARWATER – A Clearwater man died as the result of a late night shooting Saturday (April 16).
Markeen Prim, 27, died at Morton Plant Hospital of his injuries.
Clearwater police were trying today (April 17) to piece together what had happened and were asking witnesses to come forward. Police said the shooting occurred shortly before midnight Saturday (April 16) at the intersection of Tioga Street and Howard Avenue. The shooting happened during a memorial for Rajshah Ramon Williams, who died at age 20, in a July 2007 ATV accident. Several hundred people had gathered for the event.
