ST. PETERSBURG – A unique piece of glass art is missing from the Chihuly Collection, 400 Beach Drive NE.  The piece is “Cobalt and Lavender Piccolo Venetian with Gilded Handles.” It is about 8 inches by 6 inches by 6 inches and is valued at approximately $20,000-$25,000. St. Petersburg police said gallery employees noticed the piece missing Monday (Feb. 8) morning.  They believe it
was stolen Sunday when the gallery was open to the public. Detectives are reviewing hours of video to determine if the theft was recorded.
