TAMPA – Three men from Tampa were arrested and accused of vandalizing Leto High School with graffiti, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Alexander Valladares, 19; Yonjer Suarez, 20; and Kevin Narvaez, 20; all of Tampa, were each charged with one count each of Burglary with Damage over $1000 and Felony Criminal Mischief $1000 or More.

Deputies said the vandalism at Leto took place between  1 a.m. and 3 a.m. Nov. 26. The graffiti was found on the side of trashcans, concrete walkways, windows, walls, pillars, and on the roof of the school.

The three were identified on a video of the incident, deputies said. The surveillance video showed the three walking the campus.

“I am proud of our detectives whose hard work resulted in the apprehension of these suspects. Shame on anyone who would believe that racially disparaging conduct is acceptable in our community where we work so hard to insure equality,” Hillsborough Sheriff Chad Chronister said.
