FAST COMPANY: Former Gibbs High School track star Trayvon Bromell, now a Baylor University sophomore, last week ran this year’s world-fastest 100-meter time in a wind-legal 10.02 seconds.

HOGWARTS SPECIAL: Mark Durand, the University of South Florida St. Petersburg’s interim Regional Chancellor for Academic Affairs, recently told an interviewer his favorite movies were all the ones about Harry Potter.

EGG SEASON: The Snell Isle neighborhood will hold its annual Easter egg hunt around the St. Petersburg Woman’s Club, 40 Snell Isle Blvd. NE, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday (March 31).
