The Littlest Trunk opened its second location today. To celebrate, it also launched a diaper drive to benefit Champions for Children.

TAMPA – South Tampa moms and moms-to-be have a new place to find cute clothing for themselves and their children.

The Littlest Trunk, which opened in St. Petersburg in 2014, opened a second location in South Tampa today at 808 S Dale Mabry Highway.

“It’s always great to welcome a new small business,” said Tampa City Council member Guido Maniscalco, who cut the ribbon for the new locatoni. “We welcome them with open arms.”

The Littlest Trunk is marking its debut with a diaper drive to benefit Champions for Children, a nonprofit that seeks to build stronger families in the Tampa Bay region through child abuse prevention and family education programs. The diaper drive will run through Friday (May 26).

The Littlest Trunk is a children’s and maternity resale boutique created by sisters and owners Carey Kleinmetz and Ashley Ligas.

“I firmly believe consignment doesn’t have to mean compromise, and growing your family doesn’t have to mean growing your budget,”Kleinmetz said.

The stores are designed to be both stroller- and kid-friendly with wide spaces and a play area and movies to keep children busy while mothers shop.
