Now’s the Time to Apply for the School of Your Choice in Pinellas

The last day to apply for magnet, career and fundamental schools in Pinellas is next Friday (Jan. 15).

PINELLAS COUNTY – The opportunity to apply to Pinellas County Schools magnet, fundamental and career programs is underway. The district application period ends Friday (Jan. 15). Information and help are available on the Pinellas County School District website or at one of the application assistance nights for parents who need help with the process. Those nights:

  • 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 13) at Gibbs High School, 850 34th St. S, St. Petersburg.
  • 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 14) at the district’s student assignment office, 301 Fourth St. SW, Largo.

The student assignment office can also help families during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Families can visit the office or call (727) 588-6210.

More information about the application process is available in the district application programs guide. Once the application period is over, parents must log back in during the acceptance period,  Feb. 3-10, 2016 to accept a program or wait list options.
